JOHN KERRY ON CNN LARRY KING LIVE TONIGHT: CLINTON SHOULD JUST QUIT

Our only comments: John Kerry could not win in 2004 against George Bush at the nadir of his popularity, nor could he (even with help from Ted Kennedy) deliver to Obama his home state of Massachusetts. Is this loser the most prestigious surrogate that Omaha can put forward at this point? OMG.

UPDATE: As the commenter hints, Bush's approval rating when he ran against Kerry was not a lifetime low, just the lowest to date. From a May 24, 2004 report:"Bush's overall job approval rating has continued to decline. 41 percent approve of the job he is doing as President, while 52 percent disapprove -- the lowest overall job rating of his presidency. Two weeks ago, 44 percent approved. A year ago, nearly two-thirds did."The issue remains: Is Kerry the best surrogate that Omama can muster at this point? And did you see Al Sharpton on Fox Thursday night claiming "the rules" require the super-delegates to vote for Obama if he has the most pledged delegates? Pathetic.
